Senior Account Manager & Marketing Strategist

We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager & Marketing Strategist to be the main point of contact for all client accounts — including two major accounts and 20+ smaller ones. You’ll lead client relationships, drive marketing strategy, oversee execution, check all deliverables for quality, and make sure every client feels like our only client.

About 20% of your role will involve handling inbound sales opportunities: qualifying leads, presenting solutions, and closing business when the Managing Director is unavailable. This sales component is an extension of your client expertise — leveraging your marketing knowledge to help prospective clients understand how IMPACT can solve their challenges.

This is a hands-on role. You’ll be inside platforms, pulling reports, and working closely with our specialists (PPC, social, SEO, web) to keep projects moving and clients happy. You’ll also lead strategic meetings, create reports, coordinate with vendors, and occasionally jump in on special projects like best practice documents or landing page builds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Account Management

  • Be the primary point of contact for all assigned clients.

  • Create and oversee multi-channel marketing strategies (PPC, Meta, SEO, social, email, content).

  • Work with internal team members and contractors to ensure deliverables are on time and on point.

  • Conduct quality assurance checks before anything goes to the client.

  • Lead client meetings, facilitate strategy sessions, and run quarterly reviews.

  • Build, analyze, and present marketing reports with clear recommendations.

  • Monitor deadlines and resolve any blockers quickly.

  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase client value.

  • Sales (approx. 20% of role)

  • Handle inbound lead inquiries when assigned or when the Managing Director is unavailable.

  • Qualify prospects to ensure alignment with IMPACT’s services and ideal client profile.

  • Present tailored solutions and proposals with confidence.

  • Follow up to close business efficiently and professionally.

Special Projects

  • Create best practice documents and client guides.

  • Build landing pages for campaigns.

  • Coordinate with vendors and partner agencies.

  • Produce client-facing resources and marketing materials.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in an account management or marketing strategist role within a digital marketing agency.

  • Proven hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, reporting tools, and other core marketing platforms.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategy and execution.

  • Experience in consultative sales, lead qualification, and proposal presentation.

  • Experience in franchise, dental, or home services marketing is a plus.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — consultative and proactive.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience building reports from scratch.

  • Comfortable working remotely with occasional travel.
