We’re looking for an SEO Manager to own and drive SEO performance across our client accounts. You’ll manage the full SEO engine: keyword strategy, content strategy, link building, reporting, AI search visibility, and the ongoing testing and optimization that improves rankings, traffic, and leads over time.
This is a hands on role. You’ll be inside SEO tools, auditing sites, improving on page performance, building link strategies, setting up tracking, and turning data into clear priorities. You’ll also run client meetings, help standardize how we deliver SEO through documented SOPs, and bring proactive ideas that improve results and team efficiency.
This is a full time, US based remote position.
This Job Is For You If…
You have 5+ years of hands on SEO experience, ideally in an agency environment.
You understand how SEO connects to leads and revenue, not just rankings.
You’re comfortable with technical SEO, on page optimization, and link building.
You can run client meetings confidently, explain performance clearly, and set expectations.
You can build repeatable SOPs and keep SEO processes organized across multiple accounts.
You have a strong understanding of conversion rate optimization and how to improve landing pages for conversions.
You understand AI search visibility and AI driven ranking factors, and you keep up with how search is changing.
You can set up and validate tracking so performance reporting is accurate.
You can show proof of results from past SEO work and speak to what you did to achieve them.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy + Execution
Manage all SEO activities including content strategy, link building, reporting, keyword strategy, and AI search visibility to improve rankings across major search networks and emerging AI driven search experiences.
Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization.
Research and implement SEO recommendations that improve performance.
Recommend changes to website architecture, internal linking, content structure, and other ranking factors.
AI Search Visibility
Monitor and improve visibility in AI powered search experiences by ensuring content is structured for clarity, intent match, and strong topical coverage.
Implement on page improvements that support AI summarization and entity understanding, including clear headings, helpful FAQs, internal linking, and structured data where appropriate.
Track shifts in visibility and traffic sources as search evolves.
Testing + Analysis + Reporting
Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights, and apply learnings to improve results and ROI.
Track, report, and analyze website analytics for organic initiatives and campaigns.
Create clear reports with actionable insights and priorities for the next month.
Conversion Rate Optimization + Landing Page Improvement
Apply CRO principles to improve the conversion performance of key pages driven by organic traffic.
Optimize landing pages for both search visibility and conversion, including messaging, layout guidance, internal linking, and CTA placement recommendations.
Work with web and design resources to implement changes and test impact.
Tracking Setup + Measurement
Set up and validate tracking to ensure accurate measurement of SEO performance and conversions.
Ensure GA4 and Google Search Console are correctly configured, and partner with internal team members to implement tagging and event tracking as needed.
Monitor tracking health and troubleshoot issues that impact reporting accuracy.
Client Meetings + Communication
Lead client meetings related to SEO performance, strategy, and priorities.
Explain results in a way that is clear, honest, and actionable.
Translate client goals into SEO plans and deliverables, and keep clients aligned on expectations.
Link Building + Competitive Research
Develop and implement link building strategies.
Research and analyze competitor links to identify opportunities and gaps.
SOP Management + Quality Control
Create, maintain, and improve SEO SOPs so execution is consistent across accounts.
Ensure work is completed accurately and on time, and flag issues early.
Improve internal processes for audits, reporting, content guidance, and implementation workflows.
Content Support
Partner with content writers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in new and existing content.
Support content efforts by suggesting blog topics and optimization guidance.

Qualifications
5+ years of hands on SEO experience with proven results.
Strong understanding of technical SEO, on page SEO, content strategy, link building, and analytics.
Understanding of conversion rate optimization and how to improve conversion performance from organic traffic.
Experience setting up and validating tracking for accurate measurement.
Comfortable running client meetings and presenting performance clearly.
Experience creating and maintaining SOPs for repeatable execution.
Experience with GA4, Google Search Console, and common SEO tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, or similar.
Provide proof of performance from previous SEO work during the hiring process, including examples of measurable improvements and what actions drove them.
Starting salary: $70,000 per year, paid bi weekly.
Bonus structure includes performance based components tied to results and agreed upon goals.
